Crescendo Music Grants have been awarded annually since 2019. Recent grant recipients and amounts are provided below.
2025 Crescendo Grants :

DESMARAIS, Megan (Megan's Piano Lessons): $4,500, professional development intensive workshop for pianists in France

Glenpool Intermediate Music Program (Glenpool Public Schools): $4,000 for a new digital piano.

HAHN, Rachel (Owasso Public Schools Elementary Music Teacher): $1,300 to attend an Orff training workshop

JONES, Brie (Brie Jones Institute of Music): $1,500 to attend professional development pedagogy workshop

STARLING, Emma (Tulsa Public Schools Elementary Music Teacher, Eisenhower International School): $1,700 to attend an Orff Training Workshop and purchase materials for use in her classroom.

Owasso Public Schools Saxophone Ensemble: $1,800 for new equipment

Sequoyah Middle School Choir (Sequoyah Public Schools): $2,550 for new folio and music folders

TEAGUE, Poppy (Undergraduate Voice Major): $1,500 to assist with the cost of attending summer opera workshop in Germany

Tulsa Community Band: $2,000 to support music library and timpani costs.

WALL, Arabella (Piano Student): $750 to participate in a summer chamber music festival

Zuniga, Chelsea (Tulsa Public Schools, Grades 6-12 Band Director, Daniel Webster Middle & High School): $2,000 to participate in the Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic in Chicago
2024 Crescendo Grants:

Lydia Grey (Vocalist): $7,000 to participate in an opera festival in Europe

Jade Holt (5th Grade Pianist): $2,000 (including the special $500 Bob Lengacher Award) to support a summer music camp experience

Signature Symphony: $3,000 to support an educational conducting workshop

Sistema Tulsa: $8,000 to support new instrument purchases

Tulsa Symphony Orchestra: $6,000 to support the LinkUp educational program for local school children.
